Wir freuen uns sehr über die Veröffentlichung von Anna Malagridas drei Fotografie-Bänden Vitrines, Paris barricadé und Los Muros hablan, die gemeinsam auch als Sammlerbox in einer limitierten Auflage erhältlich sind.
Die einzelnen Bände zeigen Fotografien städtischer Räume, die von Texten des Kunstkritikers und Kurators Etienne Hatt beleitet werden.
Malagrida reflektiert in ihren Fotografien den Wandel, den Widerstand und das Erinnerungsvermögen urbaner Gegenden. Dazu fotografiert sie in Paris zu Zeiten der wirtschaftlichen Krise mit Kreidefarbe bemalte Ladenschaufenster (Vitrines), zugenagelte Schaufenster während der Gelbwestenproteste (Paris barricadé) und Häuserfassaden in spanischen Städten mit Überresten von entfernten Graffiti-Slogans der Idignados-Bewegung (Los Muros hablan). So schafft Malagrida Erinnerungen an gegenwärtige und zurückliegende Konflikte.

The indiviudal photography books show photographies of urban spaces accompanied by texts from the art critic and curator Etienne Hatt.
Malagrida reflects on the transformation, the resistance and the memory of urban areas through her photographies. Thus she takes photos of shopfronts in Paris, painted with chalk, during the times of the econimc crisis (Vitrines), of boarded-up facades during the Yellow vest protests (Paris barricadé) and of hous facades in spanish cities with residues of removed graffity-slogans of the Indignados movement (Los Muros hablan). This way Malagrida creates memories of present and past conflicts.
